The General Administration Department of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered a series of transfers and postings for various government officials, effective immediately. The order has been issued in the interest of administration and is aimed at optimizing the performance of various departments.
As per the order, Mr. Naresh Kumar, JKAS, who was previously the Special Secretary to the Government in the Tourism Department, has been transferred and posted as the Special Secretary to the Government in the Youth Services and Sports Department. Similarly, Ms. Shagun Sharma, JKAS, who was previously awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as the Special Secretary to the Government in the same department.
Further, Mr. Sachin Dev Singh, JKAS, who was the Additional Deputy Commissioner in Rajouri and held the additional charge of Registrar, District Rajouri, has been transferred and posted as the Additional Secretary to the Government in the Tourism Department. Similarly, Mr. Sajid Yehaya Naqash, JKAS, who was previously awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as the Additional Deputy Commissioner in Tral and will also hold the charge of the post of Sub-Registrar, Tral.
Other officials who have been transferred and posted to various departments include Mr. Parvez Sajad Ganai, JKAS, who has been posted as Joint Director, Handicrafts, Kashmir, and Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Fayaz, JKAS, who has been transferred and posted as Joint Director, Hospitality and Protocol, Kashmir. Ms. Deepika Rana, JKAS, has been transferred and posted as the Additional Deputy Commissioner in Kathua, while Mr. Mohammad Syed Khan, JKAS, has been transferred and posted as the Additional Secretary to the Government in the School Education Department.
The order also includes the transfer of Mr. Inderjeet Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Chatroo, who held the additional charge of Sub-Registrar, Chatroo, and has been transferred and posted as the Additional Deputy Commissioner in Kishtwar. Mr. Waseem Raja, JKAS, who was previously the Additional Deputy Commissioner in Bandipore, has been transferred and posted as the Additional Secretary to the Government in the Youth Services and Sports Department.
The order also includes the transfer of Mr. Garbi Rashid, JKAS, who was the Additional Secretary to the Government in the Youth Services and Sports Department, and has been transferred and posted as the Additional Secretary to the Government in the Floriculture, Parks, and Gardens Department. Mr. Joginder Singh Jasrotia, JKAS, who was previously the Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Samba, has been transferred and posted as the Additional Deputy Commissioner in Udhampur.
The order also includes the transfer of Mr. Umar Shafi Pandit, JKAS, who was the Deputy Director, J&K IMPA&RD, Kashmir, and has been transferred and posted as the Additional Deputy Commissioner in Bandipore. Mr. Rajeev Kumar Khajuria, JKAS, who was awaiting adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as the Additional Deputy Commissioner in Rajouri.
Lastly, the order includes the transfer of Mr. Ramkesh Sharma, JKAS, who was the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Ghagwal and held the additional charge of Sub-Registrar Gharwal is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to Government, Hospitality and Protocol Department. Mr. Waseem Raja, JKAS, Assistant Commissioner in the State Taxes Department, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Joint Director, Youth Services and Sports, Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the order also includes the transfer of Mr. Alyaz Ahmad Naisroo, JKAS, Deputy Director, Tourism, Kashmir, who is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Sonamarg, vice Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Rather JKAS, who shall await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department. Mr. Ajay Bharti, JKAS, Deputy Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, is transferred and posted as Deputy Director, Estates, Jammu, vice Mr. Girdhari Lal, JKAS, who shall await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.
The General Administration Department Jammu and Kashmir has made these transfers and postings in the interest of administration with immediate effect. The officials have been asked to assume charge of their respective positions as soon as possible.
The department hopes that the new appointments will help to improve the functioning of the government departments and provide better services to the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir. The decision has been taken after a thorough review of the performance of the officials and their capabilities to handle new responsibilities.
The officials who have been transferred have been directed to complete all pending work and handover their charge to their respective successors. The department has also assured that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure a smooth transition of work.
It is expected that the new appointees will bring their expertise and experience to their new roles and contribute to the development and progress of Jammu and Kashmir.
