A bus traveling from Farrukhabad to Delhi overturned in Noida on Sunday, injuring 17 passengers. The incident occurred near the Mahamaya Flyover after the vehicle allegedly lost control and collided with a road divider.
The Chenab Times has learned that preliminary investigations suggest the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel, leading to the accident. Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene.
Local police arrived at the location shortly after being informed of the incident. Seventeen passengers who sustained injuries were transported to the District Hospital for medical attention. Authorities confirmed that the injuries were minor in nature.
Traffic flow in the vicinity of the accident site was managed by the traffic department to mitigate disruptions. The bus was eventually removed from the roadway with the assistance of a crane. Further investigations into the cause of the accident are currently underway.
