Demise of father of Journalist Mohd Ashfaq condoled

All The Chenab Times members and friends on Monday condoled the demise of father of Sh. Mohammad Ashfaq, Journalist from Saroor, Kishtwar who breathed this early morning at his residence after illness, who is suffering from kidney infection.

 

Expressing profound grief over death, father of Mohd Ashfaq is very simple, noble soul and always help hand to the needy. We the members prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family particularly with our colleague/friend Mohd Ashfaq to bear this irreparable loss -(CT)

Roads of Tehsil Marmat are still in worst condition and people urged Lt Governer for work restoration of these roads

Today, the people of Tehsil Marmat gathered at one place in Gullar Nallah if tehsil Marmat, where they told us the condition of road there and they said that every time they have been also deprived from basic facilities by the government.
Further they said that Goha to Daranga road connectivity which is 30 years old constructed road and yet it is the same like it was drilled first time, work has not been started on this road yet and whenever the work is started the machine comes on the road. It works only to show people but the ground level situation makes a different statement.
They further say that crores of rupees were sanctioned for the construction of this road, but where has that money gone, they do not know anything about it .
Therefore, through Chenab Times, residents of tehsil Marmat have urged to Distt Adminstration Lieutenant Governor that the construction of above mentioned road should be statred as soon as possible so that the precious lives of the people can be saved.

Landlord gives 2 months relaxation in fare at around 60 thousands in Lockdown

Landlord from Thathri area gives atleast two months relaxation in rent fare of 10 shops, around 60 thousands due to the lockdown imposed by the government in view to Coronavirus outbreak.

Talking to Chenab Times—an online news portal, Anaytullah Zargar (who is the owner of shops near Zargar Service Station Thathri) said, “The people are faced with difficult financial situations, Large number of people are not able to pay their rents. So that I have decided to waved off their shop rent for two months. Moreover, I appealed all the landlords to give relaxations in rent recovery.” — CT

Moreover, the shopkeepers thanked him and also said that there area many youths who started their work after the abrogation of Article 370, but due to lockdown they faced huge loss. — CT

“All the landlords should do the same thing which our landlord did. So that new comers in the business line will get some relief,” a shopkeeper said. — CT

In this lockdown, there are stories of lots of people who helped others, which gives a message to society.(CT)
