Ehan is not the new face who did collaboration with Econ. Actually Ehan had already contributed various music songs of Econ. But this time Econ and Ehan, duo collaborated in Chopper style first time. And even fans suggested everyone to keep the speed at 0.5 or 0.75 in YouTube to understand the words, otherwise you can’t understand the rap lyrics. Who is Ehan?

Ehan Syed aka Ehan is a rapper, singer, songwriter, music producer hails from Bemina, Srinagar, who started his music field by own after inspiring from rappers like Eminem, NF, Tech N9ne etc at the age of 13.

Ehan says,

“I believe it’s something that can’t be taught, it’s an emotion that you come to learn all by yourself in time if you have the resolve to do it.”

Ehan is now 19 and is rapping in English, Hindi, Urdu and Hindustani language, also making music, mastering and mixing from three years.

He says,

“As a kid I always wanted to do something different in life and break many stereotypes, so I studied Hip Hop and went into the depths of lyricism and technicalities of this genre, music gave me a place to stay when i was mentally ill, I remember that, even when i gave up on life and tried committing suicide, music was the only thing that kept me alive after i failed at my attempt, music is an escape for me from this reality where i can talk about my feelings of depression and mental health too, I have always tried to better myself when it comes to poetry and melodies.”

“I am songwriter at my core, and i always try to bring out the words to express myself as truly as possible.”

Now talking about “Rap Mangaan Rooh”, the Ehan says,

“It’s been our main motive to make people understand the depth of lyricism, flow patterns, syllable rhyming & verbal abilities like speed, rhythmically combined altogether to make an impeccable track to show the lengths of Hip Hop which can be achieved and presented in a way where it sounds very fast but holds perfect sense and meaning when you look into the lyrics of the song, and that’s what Hip Hop has always been to us, doing our best every time we make a track and to also impact the kids that are growing up today and listening to music and are interested in doing something with it, it’s years of hard work that some people will neglect and critique every time they get a chance, My vision is to see kids exploring the very depths of music and not just scratching the upper surface. Music has a lot to offer than most people realize and understand.”

Econ’s view on “Rap Mangaan Rooh”

Econ also have somewhat same views like Ehan on Rap Mangaan Rooh song. While he says that the real chopper style across world is done by Eminem and Tech N9ne. In this song he wants to introduce the skills as chopper style is about rhyming in speed, in which rapper mainly focus on speed and proper pronounciation of words. Econ says,

“Our main motive was to display our skills as lyricists and our capabilities as rappers to show how deep lyrics and verbal abilities can take us.”

For clearance of big misconception that the people thinks about rap cleared by Econ. He says,

“Mostly people say rap is not all about speed but what they fail to recognise that skills like speed and extremism in lyrics is also a big part of Hip hop.”

Opinion

Econ and Ehan is showing real hip hop skills, but the majority of people in India thinks cringe pop artists are hip hoppers. Most of the viewers today depends upon TRP, where they see something spicy, they jump to that channel or song. But true viewers analyse the content and observe it, then they support the real talent. Hip Hop is not about dancing with girls, it is not about showing fake hooliganism at a place where everyone live with pain and peace and have millions of stories to express in front of world.
