Is Kishtwar Police turning into a savior for AFCON Management, which is working on the dreadful 1000 MW Pakal-Dool Power Project?
In a shocking claim made by the Kishtwar police in a FIR filed at the police station in Kishtwar for an incident that occurred at the construction site of the under construction 1000 MW Pakal-Dool Power Project in which one laborer Noor Hussain Lone R/o Dool died, the Kishtwar police FIR blamed the deceased for his own death and attempted to act as a savior of AFCON management who is holy and solely responsible.

Deceased Noor Hussain Lone
According to information obtained by The Chenab Times, Kishtwar Police registered FIR No. 165/2021 under section 287/304-A of the Indian Penal Code and placed the entire blame on the deceased, who is the father of four children, including three young unmarried daughters.
The shocking matter comes to light during a visit by ex-PDP MLC Firdous Ahmed Tak to the deceased’s home to express his condolences to the brave family.
After seeing a copy of the FIR, Tak, who was a professional advocate at the Jammu and Kashmir High Court before joining politics, became speechless and blew the lid off the incident.
In an interview with Chenab Times, Firdous Ahmed Tak stated that the Police FIR is shocking and that instead of acting against the project management, including the HR head and other officials, the entire blame has been placed on the deceased, which is an injustice to the deceased’s family members who have lost their only breadwinner with all of his children’s responsibilities pending. Tak demanded stern action against the AFCON Management, describing it as a failure of the administration and senior police officials in terms of actions taken against the project management for failing to provide safety equipment to project workers.
He urged the DC Kishtwar and the SSP Kishtwar to investigate the situation. Tak also offered legal assistance to the family, stating that if the deceased did not receive justice, the family would go to court.
