A tipper Accident on Marmat-Doda road near Hambal Nathi Nallah in district Doda today evening.

As per reportes, two persons were died on spot when a tipper fell into deep Nallah was on its way.
Locals, Goha and Khellani police rushed the spot and shifted the body into marturay room Doda for legal formalities.
Police said,
One person from Bhaderwah and another from Bhagwah area.
District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara today kick started the Blacktopping work on 6Km strech of Darbadan-Anjole road in block Thakrie of District Kishtwar.
Executive Engineer PMGSY Division Kishtwar Bashir Ahmed Khandey, Assistant Engineer PMGSY sub division Kishtwar Zahir Abbas ,Sarpanch Panchayat Anjole, Disha Devi, other PRI members among others were present on the occassion.
The approved cost of this road project is Rs.395.47 lacs.The work on the said road commenced on september 2018 and is targeted to be completed in all respects by september 2020, said XEn PMGSY kishtwar.
This all weather road on completion is going to connect rural people of Anjole and other peripheral areas with the healthcare institutions and the market and thus benefiting about 4000 souls of this area .
During this month, district administration kishtwar under the overall supervision of the DDC kishtwar has kickstarted the Macdamisation works on Dunadi-Bounjwah road, Dambar-Hawal link road and Kuleed-Hullar road all undertaken by PMGSY.
DDC asked the XEn PMGSY to ensure the quality of work and complete it within set time frame.
He also stressed for strict adherence to SOPs and protocol of COVID-19 pandemic at the work place.
A man found dead near Jashola Link Road Bhallara during intervening night of 17 and 18 August. A passerby vehicle while on its way to Bhallara found the dead body and immediately contacted Police. A police team reached the spot and started investigation on Tuesday morning.
In the primary investigation it is revealed that the person fell down on the road and died on spot identified as Rattan Singh S/o Nek Chand R/o Gulandra Bhallara.

Ashok Kumar Former Legislature, Ramban on the spot visited Ramban Degree College and strongly urged upon the Chief Engineer Road & Building (R&B) to immediately repair the link road connecting NH-44 to Ramban Degree College at Karol (Ramban). In a statement issued here, “ He said that the broader two lane link road which connects to college on the top of hill was completed only after striving hard before UPA-II government at the centre. UPA-II Government respond quickly and with an estimated cost of 1.5 Crore the link road was completed. However, since last few years the link road has been completely damaged by the GAMMON and Sublet Contractors in the process of construction of Four Lane NH-44. It is great loss of Government money and assets”.
Ashok said that the rest of the stretch of link road is filled with debris where even the tress and bushes have grown. The R&B Road & Buildings department have not pay any heed towards the dilapidated condition of the link roads. It is a great injustice to the students of college who are the future of our country. Moreover, the pacca footpath towards the college have also been damaged by Gammon company.
Ashok has stressed upon all the concerned authorities to repair and restore the link road of Ramban Degree college along with Blacktopping on war foot. He also demanded for repairing of pacca foot path which connects NH44 to College. Ashok has also demanded for road lights from NH-44 Krol to Degree College Ramban.

Complete shutdown against derogatory video was observed in entire Chenab valley on the call of religious organizations. Some areas witnessed massive protest demanding strict action against culprits. As per report hundreds of people on Monday staged a protest demonstration in Bhaderwah valley in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir to demand action against a self-styled guru and others responsible for posting a derogatory video.
On the call of Anjuman Islamia Bhaderwah
All shops and other business establishments remained closed in Bhaderwah town and adjoining areas. Traffic movement remained affected for some time due to the protest.
While talking to media Anjuman Islamia president Sheikh Pervaze Ahmed strongly condem the remarks made against Profit Mohammed (PBUH) by self-styled guru and demanded strict action the culprits involved in disturbing the peaceful environment in Jammu and Kashmir by hurting the religious sentiments of a particular community. Sheikh appealed people to maintain peace and communal harmony. Similarly, protest were reported in Doda’s Tehsil Gundna, Thathri, Bhalla, Phagsoo and Kishtwar’s Lass area.
Pertinently, police in Jammu on Sunday said two persons have been arrested after a communally sensitive video “hurting sentiments of a community” went viral.
Inspector General of Police, Jammu, Mukesh Singh said that the two persons who have been arrested include Satpal Sharma and Deepak. “A third person who can be seen in the video is absconding but he has been identified as Rohit,” said the IGP, appealing people not to share the video “as it will hurt the brotherhood.”
