Continuing its drive to eradicate drug menace from the society, Kishtwar Police arrested one drug peddler in Shakti Nagar area of Kishtwar.
While divulging detail DySP Hqrs Kishtwar Devinder Singh Bandral, said that the police had develop a specific information of sale and purchase of drug. Acting on this information a special team led by Insp Abid Bukhari SHO PS Kishtwar rushed to his shop situated at Shakti Nagar apprehended one notorious drug paddler namely Mohd Iqbal S/O Bashir Ahmed R/O Keshwan AP Shopkeeper at Shaktinargar Kishtwar. On search of his shop, 40 strips having 300 tablets of Psychotropic substance like Tramadol Tab 16 Strip, Nexito 0.5 6 Strip, Zapiz 0.25 6 strip, Zapiz 0.5. 1 strip, Alzopam 0.5 1 strip and 20 grm Cannabis (charas) like substance from his possession.
On this, case FIR No. 84/2021 U/S 8/20/21/22 NDPS Act got registered at P/S Kishtwar.
