The security forces launched an operation on Monday after villagers in Sunderbani’s Daddal village saw a body floating in flooded river waters near the Line of Control in Rajouri.
According to the Kashmir-based news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a gunfight erupted in Daddal village earlier this week, in which two militants and two army personnel were killed.
He claimed that some residents noticed a body floating in the river this morning and alerted security forces.
The forces then launched an operation to recover the body, according to the official.
