Thathri: An inspection drive was carried out in the Thathri market on April 8, 2026, to verify adherence to the Clinical Establishments Act and other regulatory norms governing healthcare facilities and medical shops.
The drive focused on maintaining standards for quality healthcare and patient safety in the sub-divisional headquarters of Thathri in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to details received by The Chenab Times, the inspection was conducted under the guidance of Sub-Divisional Magistrate Thathri, Sheetal Sharma (JKAS). The team comprised Tehsildar Thathri Satish Rana, Block Medical Officer Thathri Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Kichloo, and Station House Officer Sandeep Parihar.
During the drive, officials thoroughly examined various clinical establishments and medical shops in the Thathri market. The inspection paid special attention to the maintenance of proper records, display of valid licenses, adherence to hygiene standards, and correct storage of medicines as per prescribed guidelines. The team also reviewed operational practices to confirm that all facilities were functioning in line with regulatory requirements.
Necessary instructions were issued on the spot to the concerned stakeholders for rectification of any deficiencies observed. The establishments were directed to ensure strict compliance with the norms to safeguard public health and patient safety.
