According to official sources, the rescue operation is going on, 31 bodies have been evacuated in the accident. The rest are feared dead. The accident occurred around 7:30 AM in the Naikin area of ​​Rampur. This bus was going from Sidhi towards Satna.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat and Minister of State for Panchayat Ram Khelavan Patel were sent from the state plane to the accident site. Following the accident caused by a bus fall in Ban Sagar canal in Sidhi district, both the ministers have left for Vallabh Bhawan directly to the state hangar to assist the rescue operation and the affected families.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has canceled all his programs. The houses of the housing scheme were to be given on Tuesday, in which Home Minister Amit Shah was also going to attend. Apart from this, the cabinet meeting has also been canceled.
