The Health and Medical Education department announced on Monday the assignment of additional charges to two senior doctors in Jammu. Dr. Tabassum Jabeen and Dr. Rajeev Kumar Sharma have been entrusted with new responsibilities, as stated in an official order.
According to the order, Dr. Tabassum Jabeen, currently serving as the incharge Deputy Director of the AIDS Control Society in Jammu and Kashmir, has been assigned the charge of Director Family Welfare, Maternal and Child Health (MCH), and Immunization. This new role will allow Dr. Jabeen to oversee crucial aspects of healthcare pertaining to family welfare, the well-being of mothers and children, and immunization programs across the region.
Similarly, Dr. Rajeev Kumar Sharma, who is currently serving as the incharge Deputy Director of Health Services at the headquarters in Jammu, has been appointed as the Director of Health Services for the Jammu region. In this position, Dr. Sharma will take charge of leading and supervising health services in the Jammu area, ensuring the provision of quality healthcare to the residents.
