Among the fallen are the Commanding Officer of the 19 Rashtriya Rifles, Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhonchak, and Deputy Superintendent of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Humayun Bhat.

A charred body was recovered from the encounter zone, shrouded in the fog of uncertainty as its identity remains unconfirmed.
