SRINAGAR — A Scooty rider was killed in a road accident in Trichal area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.
An official told the news agency Kashmir News Observer (CT) that a Dumper vehicle bearing registration number JK13G-5369 hit a Scooty rider at Trichal Pulwama, resulting in severe injuries to the Scooty rider.
He said that the Scooty rider was immediately taken to District Hospital Pulwama for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
He identified the deceased as Rouf Ahmad Reshi, son of Abdul Hamid Reshi of Goripora Awantipora.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation has been taken up.
