Stringent security measures and extensive real-time monitoring were implemented throughout the country to uphold the integrity of the examination. A total of 2,527 faculty members served as Independent Appraisers, tasked with overseeing the examination’s conduct. Additionally, over 700 senior faculty, including Deans, Directors, Medical Superintendents, and senior professors, were engaged as Flying Squad members to ensure compliance and address any immediate issues.

To enhance coordination and surveillance, 16 NBEMS Regional Command Centres were activated across the nation. The examination centres were also placed under live CCTV surveillance, with continuous monitoring managed from the NBEMS Command Centre at its Headquarters in Dwarka. A dedicated team comprising 190 personnel from NBEMS and TCS was assigned to real-time monitoring and surveillance operations throughout the day.

At the NBEMS Headquarters Command Centre, officials from NBEMS, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) maintained close oversight of the examination process. To further bolster security and prevent impersonation, Aadhaar-based authentication of candidates was successfully implemented at all examination centres. Government agencies provided comprehensive support to ensure the orderly and secure conduct of the examination.

Despite the largely successful nationwide conduct, an unforeseen technical disruption occurred at the iON Digital Zone iDZ Sitapura Centres in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Specifically, at TC Nos. 41682 and 41683, the examination could not be completed for 2,445 candidates due to internal power supply issues at the test centres, attributed to the examination conducting agency, M/s TCS Ltd.

The NBEMS has acknowledged the inconvenience caused to the affected candidates and has announced that a make-up examination will be conducted for these 2,445 candidates on September 5, 2026, a Saturday, commencing at 3:00 PM in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This measure is intended to ensure a fair and equitable opportunity for all affected individuals to appear for NEET-PG 2026.

The successful execution of the examination across 1,111 centres in 339 cities underscores the significant coordination efforts among examination authorities, medical institutions, faculty, security agencies, technology teams, and various other stakeholders involved in this large-scale national undertaking. The NBEMS expressed appreciation for the cooperation, patience, and trust of the candidates and recognized the dedicated contributions of all personnel and institutions associated with the conduct of NEET-PG 2026.
