Malik was very fond of being known as an information and technology engineer and serving the people in that capacity, but God has something different and special in store for him. Though he could not get a relevant job, without any let-up, he turned to journalism and concentrated on its pros and cons with full determination to become a journalist.
Malik switched over to social media as he was keenly interested in establishing a reputed media office of his own and working for people from all walks of life, but due to a lack of monetary resources at the initial stage, he could not do much and continued with his work, but the hope was alive somewhere in his heart.
Later on, he explored his engineering skills and switched over to the Facebook page on social media with full determination and began to work hard to highlight the basic problems of people through quality videos; for this purpose, he used the lobby of his home as his “studio” and made those videos go viral on Facebook. People began to like his efforts and hard work, and he gradually became recognised by the most renowned politicians, academicians, bureaucrats, doctors, and so on in a very short period of time due to his enthusiastic approach, and the list of his followers on social media began to swell with every passing moment.It is proudly and pertinently mentioned here that as of today, Malik has a well-established media house with its headquarters situated in the posh area of Channi Himmat in Jammu under the name and style of News Insider 24×7 digital media outlet, and the Public Herald newspaper, which has more than 7 lakh followers on social media, which is a classic boost to its infrastructure.
While the Chief Editor’s coveted post is held by Masood Malik himself, he has a worthy team of professional correspondents, subeditors, ground reporters, and technical staff, totaling 75 people, under his command, working day and night in every district of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir to keep the people updated with happenings across the globe.
