The body of a 22-year-old youth, identified as Mohammad Yaseer Khan, was discovered under mysterious circumstances in his native village of Dhargloon, located in the Mendhar area of Poonch district. The incident came to light on May 24 when the body was found in suspicious condition late in the evening.
According to officials familiar with the matter, Mohammad Yaseer Khan, the son of Mohammad Naseer Khan, operated a readymade shop in his native village. The exact details surrounding the young man’s demise remain uncertain, and local authorities are actively investigating the incident.
Gursai’s Station House Officer, Farooq Ahmad, informed news agency GNS that the body has been recovered and will undergo a postmortem examination. Inquest proceedings have also been initiated to gather further information regarding the circumstances leading to the tragic incident.
