University officials confirmed that these figures represent the highest registration numbers recorded by the university since 2022. The second phase of the undergraduate admission process, which commenced on July 3 and concluded on July 11, required candidates to map their Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026 subjects with those studied in Class 12. They were also mandated to submit their preferred programme and college combinations during this period.

The university is set to release simulated ranks on the CSAS portal on Sunday evening, providing applicants with an indicative preview of their admission prospects. Candidates will have the opportunity to modify their preferred order of programmes and colleges until 4:59 PM on July 13. This window allows for fine-tuning their choices based on the simulated results.

According to the official admission schedule, the first CSAS allocation list is slated for announcement on July 16. Following the release of this list, candidates who are offered seats will be required to complete the formal admission procedures within the stipulated timeline. The university is facilitating admissions to 73 undergraduate programmes and over 100 combinations of the BA programme across its 67 affiliated colleges.

The entire admission process for these undergraduate courses is being conducted solely on the basis of CUET-UG 2026 scores, with the caveat that programme-specific eligibility criteria prescribed by the university must also be met by the applicants. This consolidated approach aims to streamline the admission process and ensure a transparent selection of candidates based on merit and stated preferences.
