The primary demand articulated by the organising bodies was for expedited justice for the deceased minor girl and stringent legal action against the perpetrators of the alleged heinous crime. Representatives from both the Sanatan Dharma Sabha and Majlis-e-Shura appealed to the district administration for a fast-track investigation to ensure justice for the victim’s family.

In connection with the case, authorities have arrested three additional individuals, bringing the total number of arrests to five. This development was confirmed by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishtwar to media outlets. Additional police personnel have been deployed to sensitive locations to prevent any untoward incidents and to maintain peace during the period of the bandh.

Further details regarding the ongoing investigation and any subsequent developments are expected to be released by official sources in the coming days.
