Ryan Anderson, the former husband of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, has publicly shared his grief following the recent death of Ken Urker, Blanchard’s ex-fiancé.
The Chenab Times has learned that Urker, who was previously engaged to Blanchard, was found deceased on what would have been his 34th birthday, October 30th. His passing is suspected to be the result of an overdose.
Urker was a notable figure in the reality television world, appearing alongside Blanchard in the series ‘Life After Lockup.’ His death has sent ripples through the community associated with the show and Blanchard’s widely publicized life.
Anderson, who married Blanchard in 2022 after her release from prison, expressed his condolences. Details of Anderson’s specific statement were not immediately available beyond the acknowledgment of his reaction to Urker’s death.
Blanchard, who gained notoriety for her role in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, and her subsequent conviction, was released from prison in December 2023 after serving eight years of a 10-year sentence. Her story was the subject of numerous documentaries, a television series, and a Lifetime movie.
Ken Urker’s death marks another tragic turn in the narrative surrounding Blanchard’s life and relationships. His connection to Blanchard predates her relationship with Anderson and was a significant part of her personal history as it unfolded publicly.
Information regarding the circumstances surrounding Urker’s death and any memorial services is still developing.
