Following her apprehension, the authorities initiated the process for her repatriation. The Army and police facilitated her movement from the Lam Police Post to the Chakkan Da Bagh crossing point. The repatriation was carried out in coordination with the relevant authorities on both sides of the border, adhering to established protocols for such incidents.

The incident highlights the porous nature of the Line of Control and the complexities of managing cross-border movements, particularly involving individuals who may have crossed unintentionally.
