POONCH, Sep 6: A road accident involving a Tata Sumo vehicle in the Dunogam area of Mandi tehsil in Poonch district has resulted in injuries to eight passengers. The incident occurred on Thursday while the vehicle was en route from Mandi towards Dunogam.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the vehicle, bearing registration number JK12-6675, was traveling when it veered off the road and met with the accident before reaching its intended destination. The impact of the crash left all eight occupants with injuries.
Following the accident, local residents and police personnel immediately launched a rescue operation. The injured passengers were swiftly transported to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Mandi for medical attention and treatment. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident, and further details are awaited as medical personnel assess the condition of the injured.
