A mule was killed another one was injured after a speeding load-carrier hit them in Kandini village of Kishtwar on Friday morning.
Eyewitnesses told CT that two mules belonging to one Sunil Kumar son of Somi Raj, a resident of Sangna, were crushed by a speeding load-carrier, killing one among on the spot.
They said that the load-carrier was on its ways towards Kishtwar when the incident took place in Kandini village.
Later, police arrested the driver of the load-carrier and started further investigation.
Meanwhile, locals said that the mules were the only source of income for their owner.
