Police destroyed 60-litre ‘Lahan’ prepared for distillation of Desi Liquor in Doda’s Changa Gandoh

Amid the continuation of the war against drugs and illicit liquor, police destroyed a 60-litre lahan prepared for the distillation of Desi liquor in the Doda district’s Changa area of Gandoh.

According to police, they found precise information on the distillation of Desi Liquor in Pora Bala village, Changa Tehsil. When a police party led by the Incharge Police Post Changa raided the homes of Mool Nath and Ghulab Singh, all of the family members fled the scene. The Panch and other respected members of the village were summoned to the spot, and a search was performed.

During the search, the police party recovered 60 litres of Lahan, which had been prepared by the family members of the above-mentioned individuals for the distillation of Desi Liquor. In the presence of the Panch of the same Ward and other respectables from the village, the Lahan was demolished on the spot.
