Two children die as house collapses in J&K’s Kathua

Two children died dead in a house collapse that happened on Sunday in the Kathua area of Jammu and Kashmir as a result of heavy rainfall, according to officials.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed sorrow over the deaths and instructed the district administration to give the affected family the support they need.

The loss of innocent lives due to house collapse in Billawar is extremely unfortunate and tragic. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family in this hour of grief. Directed district administration Kathua to provide necessary assistance to the affected family.
