Government on Monday nominated Lieutenant Governor’s only advisor Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar as chairman and Vice President of eight Boards, Councils and Corporations in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to an order issued here by government, a copy of which lies with GNS, Bhatnagar has been nominated as chairman of Governing Body of J&K Social Welfare Board, J&K Advisory Board for the Welfare and Development of Schedule Castes, Board of Directors of J&K Women’s Development Corporation, Board of Directors of J&K Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes Development Corporation and Governing Committee for J&K Child Protection Society.
Similarly, he has been appointed vice chairman of J&K Advisory Board for the Welfare and Development of Other Backward Classes, J&K Advisory Board for the Development of Pahari Speaking People and Rehabilitation of Widows, Orphans, Handicapped and Old Persons (Victims of Militancy).
