The Doda administration has issued a statement regarding the status of various roads in the Doda district. According to the statement, several roads in the district have been blocked or closed due to heavy snowfall.
The Bijarni Lal Draman Road, the Shiva Allalbani Road, the Sharerna link Road, and the Korora Charote Road have all been blocked due to snow, officials told The Chenab Times. Additionally, the Dharara Link Road has been blocked from the 6th to 9th kilometer, and the Mohalla Khankoot Road has been blocked from the 7th to 10th kilometer.
The Doda Dessa Road from the 16th to 24th kilometer has also been blocked due to snow, as has the Dhara Gundana Road and the Posta Malna Road, as per The Chenab Times. The statement also notes that all other roads under the jurisdiction of the PWD Division Doda are partially open, but may have minor slips and slush on the road surface.
Residents of the Doda district are advised to exercise caution while traveling on these roads and to check for updates on the road status before setting out. The Doda administration is working to clear the blocked and closed roads as quickly as possible to ensure the safety of all residents.
