Veteran actor Sameer Khakhar, who was best known for his roles in iconic TV shows like Nukkad, passed away on Wednesday due to multiple organ failure. The sad news was confirmed by his brother, Ganesh Khakhar. Sameer was 71 years old at the time of his demise.
The actor had also played a small but significant role in Salman Khan’s movie Jai Ho, which was released in 2014. He had been a part of the entertainment industry for several decades and was known for his exceptional acting skills and versatility.
According to reports, Sameer had been battling several health issues for some time, including respiratory and urinary problems. He was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, where he underwent treatment for his ailments. However, despite the best efforts of the medical staff, he succumbed to his illness on Wednesday.
As the news of his demise broke, several members of the film and television industry expressed their condolences and paid their tributes to the late actor. Fans of Sameer also took to social media to express their grief and remember his contributions to Indian entertainment.
