Amina Begum, the Block Development Council Chairperson of Jakyas in Doda’s Bhalessa region, passed away today after a prolonged illness. Mrs. Begum, according to The Chenab Times sources hailed from the Kund (Wani Pura) area of Bhatyas panchayat, was associated with the Democratic Progressive Azad Party.
The news of her demise has brought sadness to the locality and her fellow party members. Democratic Progressive Azad Party Chairman, Ghulam Nabi Azad, expressed his condolences to the bereaved family. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Saddened to hear about the demise of our party member & BDC Chairperson Jakyas Amina Begum. My heartfelt condolences to her family members. May her soul rest in eternal peace!”
The family of Mrs. Jakyas Amina Begum is currently in mourning as they bid farewell to their beloved member. The news of her passing has saddened the hearts of those who knew her, leaving a void that will be difficult to fill.
