Commuters on the Jammu-Udhampur section of National Highway 44 (NH-44) can now rejoice as the Thandikhui Toll Plaza stands eliminated in a move aimed at easing traffic flow and reducing travel time. This decision comes following the issuance of Gazette Notification S.O.302(E) by the Government of India on January 19, 2024.
The influence length previously covered by Thandikhui has been redistributed among the existing Lakhanpur and Bann Fee Plazas, as per the notification accessed by The Chenab Times. With this change, revised user fee rates will be applicable at Bann Fee Plaza starting today, January 26, 2024, at 8:00 AM.

Local non-commercial vehicles registered within 20 Km of the Bann Fee Plaza can avail a discounted monthly pass for Rs.330 for the year 2023-24. This pass is subject to annual revision as per the NH Fee Rules.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) encourages FASTag usage for faster and seamless passage through the toll plazas. FASTag monthly passes can be obtained directly from the Bann Fee Plaza upon providing vehicle registration certificate and proof of residence.
