A 60-year-old pilgrim died after apparently suffering a cardiac arrest on way to the Shivkhori shrine in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Monday.
Shambu Prasad, a resident of Varanasi, fell unconscious at Ransoo en route the cave shrine Sunday evening, a police official said.

Prasad was rushed to a local public health centre and later referred to Pouni for further treatment but was declared brought dead by doctors at the medical facility.
The body of the deceased was handed over to his family for last rites.
