A security alert was sounded in Rajouri after a bag, lying suspiciously near an army hospital in Rajouri district was recovered on late Monday, officials said here.
Officials told KNO that a suspicious black coloured backpack was found lying near the main gate of General Hospital of army after which army troops of regiment dealing with town security and police team headed by SHO Rajouri Sameer Jillani rushed to the spot and bomb squad was also called in.
“The bag was searched and later seized from the spot by the police.”
They added that a security alert was issued soon after the bag was found in high security zone.
