The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday said that consistent efforts are on to ensure oxygen supply as well as manpower and more than 1300 oxygen supported bed are to be set-up in Jammu division to fight the deadly Covid-19.
In a statement, administrative secretary of Tribal Affairs Department, Dr Shahid Iqbal, who has been tasked to look after the COVID-19 management in Jammu province through Health and Medical Education department, said that specific directions have been received from the office of Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor to set-up more than 1300 oxygen supported beds in next five days.
He informed that persistent efforts are on to augment both oxygen supply as well as manpower across the province.
“All Jammu districts to get focussed support in it,” he said.
