Gandoh Police, led by SHO Gandoh Inspector Vikram Singh, seized (54 Quintals), 87 bags of rice, and 21 bags of wheat on Friday.
Total 108 bags of ration were seized from the possession of one ration dealer, Bashir Ahmed S/o Ab Rehman Wani R/o Soti Dudwar Tehsil Gandoh Ration dealer of sale Centre Chanti, who had illegally dumped and sold FCI Ration to poor people at high rates in a private shop at Tawai Market Changa meant for Chanti Villagers under the supervision of I/C SSP Doda Sh Abdul Qayoom.
FIR No 59/2021 U/S 409 IPC 3/7 E.C.Act has been filed in this P/S, and an investigation has begun.
