Kishtwar Police of Police Station Dachhan detained a bootlegger during a routine Naka Check in the Dachhan Soundar area as part of its anti-vagabond campaign.
Acting on specific information, the police team led by Insp. Vikram Singh, SHO Police Station Dachhan, laid a special naka at Soundar under the supervision of SDPO Marwah Sh. Ashish Gupta.
During Naka check, police intercepted one person and recovered 11 bottles of country-made liquor from his possession.
While questioning, the accused disclosed his identity as Sadam Hussain S/o Mangta Chopan R/o Janakpur Dachhan.
In this regard, case FIR No 05/2022 under section 48 (a) of the Excise Act was registered in PS Dachhan and investigation was taken up.
