In a fortunate turn of events today, a truck carrying registration number JK02 BE 3815 met with an accident on the Jangalwar link road, causing a temporary blockage on the Thathri-Doda road. Fortunately, no loss of life was reported in the incident.
The incident occurred earlier today when the truck, driven by Om Dat, son of Kali Dass and a resident of Kandote, was en route from Doda to Thathri. As the truck approached the Jangalwar link road, an unforeseen mishap caused it to veer off the road, resulting in a temporary blockade. Locals, police were promptly alerted, and emergency services swiftly arrived at the scene to address the situation.
Fortunately, despite the severity of the accident, no casualties were reported. The driver, Om Dat, escaped with minor injuries and was immediately attended to by the medical personnel present at the scene. Following a preliminary examination, it was determined that his injuries were not life-threatening.
