Three passengers were injured on Tuesday when a vehicle, bearing the registration number JK04C-4630, was struck by a boulder on a link road in Ramban district. The incident occurred as the passenger cab was traveling from Halla Dandrath village to Ramban, with heavy boulders rolling down from a nearby hill.
The injured individuals were promptly moved to the district hospital in Ramban for treatment. Unfortunately, one of the injured persons is reported to be in critical condition.
The local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, focusing on the factors that led to the boulders rolling onto the road. Preliminary reports suggest that the incident was a result of natural causes.
