JAMMU, August 31: Senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Tejinder Singh assumed the position of Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the Jammu Zone on Monday. The transition marks a significant administrative change within the Jammu Zone’s police leadership.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that a farewell and welcome ceremony was organized at the Zonal Police Headquarter in Jammu. This event served to bid farewell to the outgoing IGP, Bhim Sen Tuti, and formally welcome Tejinder Singh into his new role as the head of the Jammu Zone police.
During the proceedings, Bhim Sen Tuti conveyed his appreciation to the officers and personnel of the Jammu Zone for their collective cooperation and unwavering dedication throughout his tenure. He acknowledged the efforts of his team in maintaining law and order and serving the region.
