Carla Jeffery, an actress widely recognized for her role as Bree in Disney Channel’s “Zombies” film series and its animated spin-off, has passed away at the age of 33. Her talent management company, Alexanders Talent Management, confirmed her death on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, through a statement released on Instagram. The cause of death has not been publicly disclosed.
Alexanders Talent Management expressed profound sadness at Jeffery’s passing, describing her as a beloved member of their family for over two decades. The agency highlighted her growth from a talented young girl into a beautiful and vibrant woman, noting her infectious smile and radiant spirit. “We will remember her infectious smile, her laughter, her talent, and the beautiful light she carried everywhere she went,” the statement read, emphasizing the privilege of watching her evolve throughout her extensive career.
The agency also extended condolences to Jeffery’s family and loved ones, respectfully requesting privacy during their period of grief. The statement concluded with a poignant farewell, “Rest beautifully, Carla. Your light will never be forgotten.”
Jeffery was born in Houston, Texas, in 1993. Her acting career began at the age of 12, with an early role in the feature film “Phat Girlz.” She amassed over 30 screen credits throughout her career, which spanned two decades. In addition to her most prominent role as Bree in the “Zombies” franchise, which includes “Zombies,” “Zombies 2,” and “Zombies 3,” as well as “Zombies: The Re-Animated Series,” Jeffery was known for her recurring role as Keysha Black in HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
Her television credits also include guest appearances on popular shows such as “Good Luck Charlie,” “Shake It Up!,” “Best Friends Whenever,” “Southland,” “American Vandal,” “iCarly,” “Game Shakers,” and “Scream Queens.” She also lent her voice to a character in “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Maximum Venom.” Her twin brother, Carlon Jeffery, is also an actor, known for his role as Cameron Parks in the Disney Channel sitcom “A.N.T. Farm.”
