The Chenab Times has learned that the Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defence in Tajikistan convened a significant workshop focused on creating this National Framework for Inclusive Disaster Risk Data Governance. This effort is being supported by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and the Regional Office of the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) for Asia and the Pacific.

The workshop brought together various national stakeholders to discuss and refine the principles and methodologies for managing disaster risk data.
