In an advisory issued on Monday, the Meteorological Centre Srinagar provided guidance for farmers. They were advised to continue with harvesting operations and other essential farming activities, taking into account the prevailing weather conditions and the forecast for the coming weeks.

The forecast, based on detailed meteorological analysis, aims to provide residents and stakeholders with advance information to prepare for the expected weather patterns. The predictions cover the immediate outlook for the remainder of August and the initial part of September, offering a clear picture of anticipated atmospheric conditions.

The advisory from the weather office also serves to inform the general public about the expected weather, enabling them to make necessary arrangements. The focus on hot and humid conditions in early September suggests a potential shift in the weather system following the monsoon season’s typical trajectory in the region. Farmers, in particular, are urged to remain vigilant and adapt their agricultural practices as needed, based on the provided forecast and their on-ground observations.
