J&K: No ban on sacrifice of animals on Eid, says JK Govt

The JK government has issued no orders prohibiting the slaughter of animals, according to the ASH Department.

The Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department clarified today that the government of Jammu and Kashmir has not issued any orders prohibiting the slaughter of animals in accordance with the rules.

In addition, the Animal Welfare Board of India issues an annual advisory on animal slaughtering to be carried out in accordance with laws and rules.

The same warning was issued this year as well, and it was forwarded to the appropriate authorities.
