The Armed Forces Flag Day ,2021 was celebrated by NCC Naval and Infantry Wings of Government Degree College Doda under the guidance and patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Attar Singh Kotwal Principal, GDC Doda, under the aegis of IQAC, GDC, Doda and as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The program started with the introductory lecture by Prof. Zain Batt, ANO/CTO , NCC (Naval Wing) , GDC, Doda. It was followed by the address of Prof. Babu Ram Rakhwal, Vice Principal of the college. He conveyed the students about the importance of the Flag Day. NCC cadets launched donation collecting movement among the staff and the students. On the occasion, the staff and the students contributed a lot with national spirit. The total amount collected was deposited to the Sainik Welfare Department, Doda .
The Program was attended by Dr. Ajaz Wani , Coordinator IQAC, Prof. KK Manhas, HOD, Education, Prof. Ankush Raaj, HOD, Computer Sciences and Dr. Jagmohan Sharma. The vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Arjun Singh, CTO, NCC ( Infantry). The Proceedings of the program was moderated by Cadet Captain Joginder Singh, NCC (Naval Wing) .
