Police on Thursday said four packets of narcotic like substance were recovered from a load carrier near Baryani India Army Gate area of Poonch district.
“At around 1400 hours, one Tata mobile (JK11C-9009) coming from Kaga Chaperdera towards Manjakote was checked at Baryani India Army gate,” a police officer said, adding, “During checking four packets of narcotic like substance recovered from the vehicle.”
The driver of the vehicle namely Shierbaz Ahmed son of Mohammad Sarwer of Galuti Manjakote has been arrested along with second person Mahmood Khan son of Mohammad Aslam of Gulati Manjakote. “Both persons were arrest on spot,” a police officer told GNS.
