A 17-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday.
Sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a 17 years old girl (name withheld) from Tilsara consumed some poisonous substance at her home following which she was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared her dead.
After medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased will be handed over to her relatives for last rites, they said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
