Mega Medical Camp on 26 July to Provide Healthcare Facilities at Doda’s Phagsoo (Thathri)

In a bid to address the medical needs of the local residents and provide accessible healthcare facilities, a mega medical camp has been scheduled to take place at Phagsoo, Medical Block Thathri, on Wednesday, the 26th of July, 2023, starting at 10:00 am. The initiative is the brainchild of the Administrative Secretary to the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Department of Health & Medical Education, Shri Bhupinder Kumar (IAS).

With the objective of ensuring quality medical care is readily available at the doorsteps of the people, the medical camp will offer an array of essential services catering to various health concerns. The event is expected to draw residents from the surrounding areas, providing them with the opportunity to receive medical attention from a proficient team of doctors and healthcare professionals.

The team of doctors who will be present at the medical camp consists of esteemed medical professionals from different specialties. These highly skilled individuals will be equipped to carry out various screenings and health checkups, along with addressing specific medical requirements. Here is the list of doctors and their respective specialties:

1. Dr. Fayaz ul Haq Zargar – Physician: Dr. Zargar brings his expertise in general medicine to the camp, ensuring that attendees receive comprehensive medical evaluations and treatment recommendations. He is stationed at SDH Gandoh, known for his dedication to patient care and his vast medical knowledge.
2. Dr. Bishen Singh – Orthopedics: With a specialization in orthopedics, Dr. Singh will be available at CHC Thathri to cater to any musculoskeletal concerns attendees may have. His proficiency in diagnosing and treating bone and joint issues will be a valuable asset to the medical camp.

5. Dr. Mudassir Sufi – Surgeon: Dr. Sufi, a skilled surgeon from SDH Gandoh, will be available to assess and provide surgical consultations to patients with surgical ailments. His surgical acumen will be of immense benefit to those in need of such services.
6. Dr. Priya Manhas – ENT Specialist: As an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist stationed at CHC Bhaderwah, Dr. Manhas will address any ENT-related issues presented at the camp. Her expertise in this field will ensure attendees receive accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatments.

In addition to the team of doctors, the medical camp will also see the participation of RBSK & RKSK Teams from Block Thathri, along with the MMU team. These teams will contribute to the camp by providing a range of services to attendees, further enriching the healthcare offerings available on the day.
