Srinagar – In a distressing incident, three residential houses were engulfed by a massive fire that erupted in the Alochi Bagh area of Srinagar late last night. Officials have confirmed that no casualties were reported in the incident.
According to an official statement, the fire was attributed to a short-circuit within one of the affected houses. The flames quickly spread, leading to significant damage to the properties.
Promptly responding to the emergency, fire tenders were dispatched to the scene in an effort to extinguish the blaze. However, by the time they arrived, the three houses had already sustained substantial destruction.
It is a relief that there were no reported fatalities as a result of the incident. The affected families, though, will have to contend with the loss of their homes and belongings.
