Thathri: Congress hold press conference on “SC Scholarship Central Funds Ending” and “Farms Bills”

Thathri, 28 Nov: Senior Congress leader and Block President Congress Thathri Asgar Hussain Khanday criticised BJP for ending scholarship funds and supported farmers who are protesting in Punjab and Haryana against the Farms Bill. Scholarship for 60 lakh Scheduled Caste school students stuck after end of Central funding recently.
In an conversation with Early Times, Khanday said, "BJP is working against the people of nation and they have destroyed the future of 60 lakh students by ending the central funds for SC scholarship."
Meanwhile, he also slammed BJP’s recent Farms Bills, he said, "The BJP govt attacking on Indian agriculture system through these bills on farming — one related to APMC, the other one is related to contract farming and the third bill which is on essential commodities."
"On one side BJP destroyed the future of SC students and on the other side they [BJP] shown oppression on those farmers who are the nation builders and maintain the economy of our nation," he added.
