On Int’l Women’s Day, Adv Neelofar Inaugurates “Madr-e-Meharban Skill Development Centre” in Baramulla

On the day of celebration of International Women’s Day, Adv. Neelofar Masood inaugurated the skill development centre named and styled as “Madr-E-Meharban Skill Development Center” at Katiawale Baramulla.

In a statement issued exclusively to The Chenab Times, she said there can be no better day than this one, when the world is celebrating the contributions of women all over the world, and in order to give vent to the talent of females, this centre has been established. She said that women have proved their abilities whenever trusted and believed.

She further added that the crime rate of offences against females has increased and we, as a society, are responsible for it as we have failed to culcate the best mannerism and qualities in our males.

She emphasised that as parents, as a society, and as a government, we must recognise our responsibilities in creating a healthy society in which women’s cultural, traditional, economic, and political rights are respected and honored.

The inaugural function was also addressed by District Secretary Sundeep Kour, Publicity Secretary Ramanjeet Kour, Halqa president Bilquees, and Halqa secretary Shagufta.
