Continuing its efforts under operation Sanjeevani, Doda police arrested two drug peddlers from Bhaderwah Town in the Karara Thathri area of Doda district.
In a statement issued to The Chenab Times, Doda Police said that today, two drug peddlers from Bhaderwah, namely Salman Yaqoob S/O Mohd Yaqoob and Nadeem Iqbal S/O Mohd Iqbal Malik, both residents of Bhaderwah Town, were apprehended at Karara by a police party led by SI Rahul Verma of IC Police Post Krara and recovered 130 grammes of Narcotic Substance (Charas) from their possession.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 34/2022, U/S 8/20 NDPS ACT, stands registered at Police Station Thathri and an investigation has been taken up.
The arrest of the accused persons and recovery of narcotic substances was made under the supervision of Insp. Amrit Katoch, SHO. PS Thathri and Meer Ghafoor, SDPO Bhaderwah.
