JKNC Youth Leader from Doda, along with nine others, resigned from party citing “unsatisfactory performance and behavior”

In a new development, Nafees Keen, a young face of the National Conference from the Kahara area of Doda district, resigned from the basic membership of the party, citing “unsatisfied performance and behaviour” in the district body.

As per the communique, National Conference Youth Leader Kahara Nafees Keen, along with nine other members, including Shokat Ali Mir, Shaheen Yaseen, Asgar Hussain Wani, Mohd Ishaq Batt (President OBC Cell kahara), Ahsan Wani, Umar Farooq, Basharat Hussain Wani, and Nazir Ahmed Khanji, also resigned from the party.

Writing to J&K National Conference Zonal President Chenab Zone, Nafees Keen wrote, “Dear Kichloo sb, I had an opportunity to serve my party from my student life and also with the different dignitaries of the National Conference. I always had a personal attachment with Sher e Kashmir Vision of a prosperous and developed Jammu and Kashmir. I always tried to do my best for my party from the core of my heart. Today, while writing to you, is an emotional and heartbreaking moment for me and hundreds of my colleagues. We are not satisfied with the performance and behaviour of District President Doda and some other senior leaders of Doda Town. I hereby submit my resignation from the basic membership of the party along with the following colleagues. Kindly accept our resignation. We will be highly thankful to your good self.”

Nafees Keen tweeted, “From my students Life till date worked hard to Strengthen the National conference on gross root level. The Discriminating behaviour of District Doda Leadership towards me and my colleagues was disappointing and now decided to resign from the basic membership of Party. @JKNC.”

As per sources, Keen was unsatisfied with the Doda district unit of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference for a long time, but despite many attempts to stabilise the unit, he finally decided to resign from the party.
